please share:
A subdomain is a separate section of your website that has its own unique URL. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the process of setting up a subdomain on cPanel, a popular web hosting control panel. We will show you how to create the subdomain, access the root folder for the subdomain, and create and edit files within the root folder. By the end of this tutorial, you will have a new subdomain up and running on your website
1. Login to your cPanel account and scroll down until you find the “Subdomains” feature.
2. Click on the “Subdomains” option and enter the name of your subdomain in the “Subdomain” field. Choose the main domain for your subdomain in the “Domain” field.
3. You can choose to modify the “Public Document Root” or “File Root” for your subdomain, but this is optional. Click “Create” to create the subdomain.
4. Wait for the cPanel to create the folder for your subdomain.
5. Once the subdomain is created, you can use the File Manager to access the root folder for your subdomain.
6. Inside the root folder, you can create new files such as index.html or index.php and edit them as needed.
7. Test your subdomain by visiting the URL in a web browser. If you have made any changes to the files in the root folder, be sure to save them before testing.
